Great cookbook!

I received this cookbook just a few weeks ago, and have made several dishes from it. I bought it because of the recipes, not because I am on a special diet. I had viewed it at a bookstore and it seemed to have a lot of recipes that sounded great, and that I would actually make. I also loved the fish section, and that it had a vegetarian section. We don't eat much meat, therefore I don't utilize most recipes in non vegetarian cookbooks, however this one seems to be an exception. The recipes I have made have all been rather simple, healthy and very tasty!

Great cookbook. I have made several recipes from this book. It is good for people who need to watch their salt intake.

I bought this when my husband was diagnosed with some heart issues. It is a good book but I have found that I'm not much of a cook book cooker. I normally dash home after work and throw something together that we both like and is tasty. The things I have made out of this book were good and we both like them but just didn't end up in our usual rotation.

While I won't pretend that every recipe in this book looks great, what I've liked what I've tried so far and my heart has approved them. I expect to purchase other books in this American Heart Association series.
