Can't wait to try the recipes
I heard about this book on our local Christian radio station. I love the stories about the recipes and can't wait to try them. I also gave one to my sister-in-law who loves to cook and is always looking for new recipes for her picky husband (my brother).
A Southern approach to healthY and GREAT recipes
Virginia combines great down-home cooking, teaching technique and great recipes that will bring your family together in the kitchen. My daughter has 14 yellow stickies as place holders for recipes she wants to try in this book. Every one can learn some new southern secrets and techniques and share some of Virginia's easy and tasty recipes. Not only is this a great cookbook, it includes coffee table quality photographs and interesting tales of how Virginia was raised in the south cooking with family where she fell in love with cooking. This book makes a great gift for loved ones and will get you into the kitchen to try the recipes out!
Southern Charm at its BEST!
Not only are the recipes delicious and amazing, Virginia Willis adds so much southern charm to this book. It is not simply recipe after recipe but rather a personal book from Virginia's heart filled with family stories and food insights that make the recipes oh so good! Her talent as a chef is apparent through the myriad of scrumptious recipes! If you love good southern cooking, this is a must have book!

What a wonderful book!! And the author did such a good job with her presentation. This is a perfect book for the southern chef in your family...or buy it for yourself as I did.
A Perfect Christmas Gift
Bon Appetit, Y'all has become a welcomed addition to my cookbook collection. The photos are beautiful, the styling is clean and crisp. Virginia's stories of her mother and grandmother are touching as they are informative. And the food? Perfect for scratching that nesting itch. Funeral Grits, Gratin Dauphinois, and Vidalia Onion Quiche are just a few of the mouth watering recipes included in this book. I've enjoyed the biscuits, the grits and the Chicken Saltimbocca with Country Ham. I'm looking forward to cooking much more. If you have a cook in your family, this book would make a great Christmas gift and hopefully you would get to sample the delicious results.
