| Customer Rating: | This is what a memoir should be! Funny, touching, totally relatable (even if you don't wear pearls, own pit bulls, or live in trendy upscale rentals). I love that Jen is able to make her journey from six figure inflated salary-uber hard working republican-designer lable diva to scaled down-box wine drinking-dog loving-neighbor spying-republican without ever losing her sense of self or knowledge that most other people are stupid. The journey is fun and painful and such a good read that you can't put it down (except when I was laughing so hard that I had to look for kleenex for the tears streaming down my face!!)
Jen, I so want to be your friend and swill trendy cocktails with you!
All three of Jen's books are fabulous so start here knowing that there are more wonderful memoirs to come! Personally I like this and her third book the best, but they are all worth buying! |

Self-centered is right!
| Customer Rating: | | This book is very funny, but I this author really does love herself! The book is a bit of a run-on in terms of the message, and you can skip a chunk of it without getting confused. It's cute, but I've read better books in this genre. |
