Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com The most celebrated of all the Disney classics, "Cinderella" is also known as one of Walt Disney's all-time favorite films. In the magnificent tradition of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "Cinderella" has enchanted generations with its spellbinding story, charming music, and endearing characters that live in your heart forever. The beloved fairy tale becomes pure Disney magic as beautiful Cinderella shares her dreams of romance and a better life with the lovable mice Gus and Jaq. When Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, the delightful Fairy Godmother appears! With a wave of her wondrous wand and a bouncy 'Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo,' the Fairy Godmother transforms a simple pumpkin into a magical coach - and Cinderella's rags into a gorgeous gown. At the ball, Cinderella falls in love with Prince Charming, but must flee before the stroke of midnight breaks the spell! Fully restored and sparkling with heartfelt emotion, captivating comedy, and delightful adventure, "Cinderella"'s timeless tale of how dreams can come true is now 'even better than you remembered it!' - Joel Siegel "Good Morning America". Treasure it...happily ever after! Paperback of Cinderella story disappoints | Customer Rating: | | I bought this for my 4 year old grandson who loves the story and video. It is a cartoon type book with bubbles for dialogue, not a story book. It is too difficult to have a small child follow this. I recommend the Golden Book version of the story. | A classic! | Customer Rating: | | I loved this story as a little girl and it's so much fun to read again after all these years to my young daughter. She absolutely loves it and it's a great companion to the movie. | Magical rags to riches tale! | Customer Rating: | Cinderella is, in my opinion, the all-time favorite classic Disney story for little girls. There's got to be a reason why there are so many grown-up books and movies referred to as "Cindarella stories!"
Don't settle for immmitations -- get the original for your kids!(And enjoy re-reading it yourself!) | It's back and as special as ever! | Customer Rating: | How exciting to find this Little Golden Book from my long-ago childhood back again so I can share it with the kids in our family.
Attention Baby Boomers! This book has got the original illustrations. You might just want to buy it for yourself! | Just right for little readers | Customer Rating: | | This is a good, short adaptation of the Disney movie version of the classic "Cinderella" story. Keeps some of the new characters that the Disney crew created, including Lucifer the cat and the mice that Cinderella protects. Touches on all the main points of the movie, and sticks pretty closely to the movie's plotline. Perfect tool for encouraging kids who like the movie to also pick up a book and read. |
