Bring an element of simplicity and quality to your pressured life! Let your slow cooker work for you. A cookbook with recipes that I ACTUALLY use! | Customer Rating: | I have enjoyed using this book. I like to cook, but it can get rather boring. And I get tired of the same ole thing all the time. I really like to use my slow cooker and this book has a load of recipes that I have used frequently (Tater-Tot Casserole is my husband's all time fave!) and a lot that I really want to try. I'm a calorie counter and this book also has a lot of good 'light' recipes as well. Each recipes is provided with nutritional facts, which is a must have! Overall, I am glad I bought this book and intend on using it very much in the future. I have bought many other books on slow cookers and this one by far has the most USEFUL recipes! | Ever wondered what to do what the new crockpot? | Customer Rating: | | I have a small and a large crockpot and always wondered about recipes to try. This is a great cookbook that has easy to follow recipes with ingredients that we use everyday. Simple format with no frills but what that amounts to is more recipe space. It was such a cool book that my sister "borrowed" it months ago! | Wonderful Cookbook | Customer Rating: | | I purchased this book used but it was in very good condition. The book has wonderful crock pot recipes which are very easy to prepare. Love it!!! | Disappointing | Customer Rating: | | If you love to cook high fat, this is the cookbook for you. Almost all recipes require a creamed soup. A few I tried were tasty, but definitely not too healthy. | Just plain awful | Customer Rating: | | I tried to give this no stars, but apparently that isn't an option... I have only made a few recipes from this book, but after reading the recipes, it is a terrible cook book. It features complete lack of organization, many recipes are duplicates of others, no commentary on the recipes. The few things I did make were so bad we threw them away without even serving them. I'm not even selling mine on Amazon, I'm putting it in the recycle bin. |
