He includes all of the code right there on the pages with details as to what everything does and what it means. His database is Microsoft Access; SQL Server Express or SQL CE would have been better, but they weren't out whenever this book went to print. |

It maybe long but the step by step details make it where you can work at your own pace.I found this book to be very well written for the person who has never used Visual Basic the information is written in each chapter to show how it is applied and builds on each chapter until you have a working project at the end.
