Stupid mistake...

I purchased this text in November 2004, and upon discovering the mistake, immediately e-mailed Zondervan to point it out. I'm not sure if it's been corrected in later printings, but I certainly hope so. To find a misspelling of "Jesus" in the Bible is, quite frankly, ridiculous, and causes me to question the integrity of the rest of the text as a general principle. However, this was the only huge concern (and the reason for the 2 star rating).
Another point to note is the dimensions of this particular Bible... I didn't consult the dimensions very carefully and when it came, it was a lot longer than I had expected. Most thinline Bibles are only a little longer than they are wide, but this one has a more distinct shape. If that's okay by you, it does still fit easily into purses, and the text is a readable size for me (but I'm in my early 20's). |
