Life Saver ... Literally!

As the one reviewer mentioned, it does not replace the vet - but ...it comes in handy for those emergencies that happen in the middle of the night.
Examples:
In the middle of the night, our dog wanted outside. She got stung by an insect and her nose immediately began swelling - making it difficult for her to breathe. We gave her benadryl and within minutes, she was fine.
My kitten has a severe upper respiratory infection. We have him on antibiotics that the vet gave us, but the poor little guy was having a horrible time trying to breathe. Again, I gave him a little benadryl and diluted some nasal spray and applied some on his nose with a Q-tip. And it has helped!
I have used Pepto Bismal for upset stomachs and Ascripton for arthritis. All of these are listed in the book as being safe ... and they WORK!
Have saved me hundreds of dollars in vet bills ... and most importantly, has helped my pets feel better.
