| This book is part of the Warner Bros. series, entitled "80 Years of Popular Music." I am looking forward to owning other volumes of this series (especially from the 40s thru the 80s) but I decided to start with "The Sixties" because, to a greater extent than the music of the other decades, the songs that came out of the 1960s really offer snapshots of the time. The Piano/Vocal/Guitar format offers full accompaniment for piano and a separate staff for the vocals. Guitar chords are indicated graphically in most cases but a few songs only indicate them by name without the chart. Most songs are arranged in the key of C, F and G, making them accessible to newcomers. Following is a partial song list; there are 82 songs in all.
