Summary:

Everyone's in love with vampires, and if his name happens to be Edward Cullen, then readers of the wildly popular Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer can't help but be crazy about him. For all those who adore Bella Swan, Edward, and the rest of the Cullen family and can't get enough, this companion guide is a must-read and a terrific gift. The series follows an unlikely couple: Bella, a teenager, and her boyfriend Edward, a vampire that has sworn off human blood. But their love is ill-fated--being a vampire, Edward must keep his passion in check, lest he is driven to suck Bella's blood.

With legends, lore, and myths about everything from vampires to werewolves to immortality, a bio of the author, and a ton of insight into the four-book series, this companion guide will give millions of readers the information that they've been waiting for since book one.

If I could go below a one-star rating I would've.
Even though much of what I have to say has already been said, I feel like I should re-state just so people really understand it's not just some people having issues with it.

The book is inaccurate and reads like a college thesis paper on the history of vampires and werewolves. The only way this thing even coinsides with Twilight is that the author throws in random quotes at times that may be necessary or quizzes that may have to do with the stars.

You can tell the progression of the author as the book goes along...she clearly started the book before she read the entire series and she reveals information as if she is just now uncovering it, not as if she has read the series and did research or interviews to add to her reading experience.

The only reason I bought the book was because it was placed right next to the series in the bookstore and I felt like it must have some credibility if it's next to them. Clearly just a tactic to sell the book...don't fall for it. Yes, i realize it was an "unoffical" guide to the series...but it doesn't guide you in any way...it's really a history on vamps/werewolves and the way they have evolved through folklore and movies.

Wish I would've waited for the official guide!

HUGE Waste of Money! AWFUL book

This book doesnt even deserve one star!! I saw it in the bookstore a couple of days ago and bought it even though I have the OFFICIAL guide to the Twilight Saga on pre order because I am a HUGE Twilight Fan, so I pretty much read anything that has to do with the series.

I wouldn't call this a "Twilight Companion" I would call this "Written by someone who wants to make money off of someone elses fame" I doubt this woman who wrote this book even READ any of the Twilight Series. I only read about a quarter of this book, I can't even finish it and the part that I read is riddled with errors. ANY Twilight fan would know at an instance that this woman is a fake. She doesn't know anything about the series. I have no words to describe this except for awful, do NOT waste your money as I did on this. Stephanie Meyers aught to sue this woman for using the premise of her work for something as bad as this!

Don't waste your money, wait for the official guide to come out!! It will be out in december. It is written by Stephanie Meyers so I am sure it will not disappoint!

Did she read the books?

This book is so far out there. I had a hard time believing, in several areas of her book, whether she had even read the Twilight Series.

It's like Teen Beat, ga ga over Edward, tween sillyness..written by your MOM!

I will admit, I'm not 13. But if I was, I would really enjoy taking the silly "tests" in this book to see if Edward is my dream boy! This book obsesses over Edward almost as much as Bella does! But seeing this was written by someone who clearly has not been a teenager in quite a long while, it's just wierd.

If your 40+ year old mom wrote a book about how drop dead gorgeous Edward is, this would be it. And you'd be just as creaped out.

Worth a thumb through at the store, but not worth taking home unless it's in the $1 bin. Just a half-butted attempt to cash in on the Twilight craze. Not much else here. Even the Vampire "facts" are mostly just rehashed info about Bram Stokers Dracula.

ugh

Horrible
Customer Rating:  Score = 1 Score = 1 Score = 1 Score = 1 Score = 1
in summary, this was a waste of my money. it was completrel;y inaccurate and anyone who knows anything about the twilight series, would not like it at all. this "guide" has many inaccurate "facts" about these books, so DON'T BUY IT!!! no wonder stephenie meyer didn't approve of it. =(
P.S. if i could give it a 0 star rating, i would
