Actually WORSE than having no thesaurus at all !
| Customer Rating: | | I got this as an impulse purchase with a special WalMart price of $2.93. But it's a waste even at that low price. It is just awful. It doesn't even have the word "good" IN it. Nor can you look up "go," "run," "say," "right," or any of the other common words for which you may want a synonym. It's ridiculous! The Webster's New WORLD Thesaurus I have by Charlton Laird is MUCH BETTER. (Mine is a 1974 edition. I couldn't tell you if the new ones are as good.) How frustrating this would be for a child studying English! It's worse than not having a thesaurus at all! |
